Terms of Service

Effective September 4, 2026. These terms are between you and onKeyPress LLC ("Snoot Safe", "we").

What Snoot Safe is

A check-in service: you confirm on a schedule that you are fine; if you miss it, we escalate reminders to you and, failing that, notify the emergency contacts you chose with the pet-care information you provided.

What it is not

Snoot Safe is a best-effort backstop. It is not a medical-alert device, an emergency service, or a substitute for one. Detection depends on your schedule and grace window and can take up to about a day on the default settings. Messages depend on carriers, networks, devices and third-party providers we do not control, and delivery is not guaranteed. Do not rely on Snoot Safe as your only safeguard for a person or an animal.

Your responsibilities

• Add only contacts who have agreed to be contacted in an emergency. We ask each of them to confirm before we send anything further, and they can step down at any time.
• Keep your contacts, phone number and pet-care information accurate and current.
• Keep your account credentials and your contacts' reveal PINs private. You are responsible for what happens with house-entry details you choose to store.
• Use the service lawfully and only for its purpose. Do not use it to send unsolicited messages to anyone.

Text messages and calls

By verifying a phone number you consent to receive check-in reminders, verification codes and alert-related texts and automated calls. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help. Contacts receive one invitation and nothing further until they confirm; every later message carries a step-down link and STOP works the same way.

Billing

$4.99 per month or $49 per year after a 14-day free trial; a card is required to start the trial and you can cancel before it ends at no charge. Each month includes 30 text or voice reminders, 1 alert event and 1 practice drill; beyond that, 10¢ per reminder, $1.99 per alert event and 99¢ per drill, billed to the same card. Reminders never stop because an allowance is used up. If a payment fails, the service continues in full for 14 days while we retry and tell you; after that, protection is paused until payment succeeds, and we tell you that too. Cancel any time from your account; refunds are at our discretion, ask us. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Accounts and termination

You may delete your account at any time, which erases your data and cancels your subscription. We may suspend or end accounts that abuse the service, the people it messages, or our providers' policies, and we will tell you why.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snoot Safe is provided "as is", we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including harm to an animal or a person that the service did not prevent.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States. Disputes will be resolved in that state's courts, or by binding arbitration if we both agree.
