Privacy Policy

Effective September 4, 2026. Snoot Safe is operated by onKeyPress LLC ("we", "us").

What we collect

• Your account: email address, a password we store only as a hash, a verified phone number, and your time zone.
• Your pets: names, species, photos you upload, and the feeding, medication and vet instructions you write.
• Your contacts: the name, phone number and email address of each person you add, and whether they confirmed or declined.
• House-entry details, if you choose to add them: stored encrypted, under keys held separately from the database, and decrypted only when a confirmed contact proves who they are during an alert.
• Activity needed to run the service: check-ins, reminders and alerts we sent and whether they were delivered, and who viewed house-entry details, when, and from what network address.
• Billing: Stripe handles payment. We store a Stripe customer reference and your subscription status, never your card number.

How we use it

Only to run Snoot Safe: to remind you, to alert your contacts, to show them your pets' instructions, to bill you, to answer your support requests, and to keep the service secure. We do not use your information for advertising and we do not build profiles.

Who we share it with

Service providers that process it on our behalf and under our instructions: Amazon Web Services (hosting, email and storage), Twilio (text messages and phone calls), Stripe (payments), and Cloudflare (protection against automated sign-ups). We share what an alert requires with the contacts you chose. We do not sell personal information.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Text messages and calls

By verifying a phone number in your account you agree to receive check-in reminders, verification codes and alert-related messages by text and automated voice call from Snoot Safe. A contact you add receives a single invitation text and nothing further unless they confirm through the link in it. Message frequency varies with your schedule. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time; reply HELP for help. Every message to a contact includes a link to step down.

Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account exists. You can export everything we hold from your account, and deleting your account erases it, including photos, and cancels your subscription. Backups are encrypted and expire after 30 days.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. House-entry details are additionally encrypted per account with keys held in a separate key-management service, and every reveal is recorded. Access to production systems is limited and audited.

Children

Snoot Safe is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes and contact
